In celebration of 'The Great Turtle' race, we thought we would take a look at some of the most famous turtles of movies, TV, stories and more.

One of the most evil turtles was Gamera. He was a gigantic flying, fire-breathing turtle who wanted to destroy all of Tokyo. Sometimes he battled with Godzilla.

Tortoise
One of the most famous fables that is told is that of the Tortoise and the Hare. In the story, the hare is fast but often gets sidetracked or in trouble. But Tortoise, even though he is slow, is very consistent and steady and ends up winning their race.
