Chapter 7: Old Narnia in Danger & Chapter 8: How They Left the Island
Chapter Seven starts out with the arrival of Doctor Cornelius. He has come to warn Caspian that Miraz is onto him and knows that he has fled. Destrier, Caspian's horse, returned to the stable and his secret was revealed. Miraz has sent scouting parties and knows of their location. They are ready for a fight. Doctor Cornelius convinces the group to get to a stronger location- Aslan's How. Once they settled in there, the scouts find them and the battles begin. After several battles the Old Narnians were in desperate shape. Caspian asked the council if he should blow the magic horn. They all agreed it was the time to do it and sent scouts to Lantern Wise and Cair Paravel to see if the horn brought any help. Chapter Eight brings us back to Trumpkin who had been telling the story of Caspian to Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. They now realized why they have brought back to Narnia. At first Trumpkin didn't believe that these kids could do anything to help, but after a sword fight with Edmund, archery with Susan and Lucy healing his shoulder, he began to believe. So they all started the journey to get to Caspian to help with his war for Narnia.

Chapter 9: What Lucy Saw & Chapter 10: The Return of the Lion
In these two chapters, Trumpkin, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are trying to make their way to King Caspian to help in the fight against Miraz. They had a close call with a bear but Trumpkin was able to take him down and then the boys cut it up for meat. As they were trying to decide which was to travel, Lucy spotted Aslan. No one else saw him but she insisted that he told her to go up the gorge. They voted and decided to continue down the gorge. They continued on their journey and made it to the end of the gorge. They made it into the valley and the woods when all of a sudden they were under attack. They had to retreat and discuss a new route. They decided to settle down for the night and have bear and apples for dinner. Everyone had fallen asleep but then Lucy was awaken to someone calling her. It seemed like the trees were trying to talk with her and soon she came face to face with Aslan. He told Lucy that she must wake the others and get them to come follow him. She knew it wouldn't be easy to get them to believe her, but she would try.

Chapter 11: The Lion Roars & Chapter 12: Sorcery and Sudden Vengeance
Lucy with the help of Edmund, finally got everyone to follow her to Aslan even though they couldn't see him. Lucy followed Aslan as he lead them to the path that went down from where they were on the gorge. Slowly, the others began to see Aslan. First Edmund, then Peter and then Susan and even Trumpkin. Eventually he lead them to the How and sent the boys and Trumpkin into the mound. Aslan let out a roar and before Susan and Lucy knew it they were surrounded by people who seemed quite wild having a Romp of some sort. Lucy recognized them as Bacchus and Silenus. Meanwhile Peter, Edmund and Trumpkin made their way to the mound and all went in. They followed Trumpkin to a door outside the central chamber. There they overheard arguing. They were talking about fighting Miraz and his men and how the horn was blown too late since no Aslan or high kings had come. King Caspian, Doctor Cornelius, Trufflehunter, Nikabrik and other dwarfs and badgers were all arguing. They disagreed about Aslan and the high kings and said they should bring back the White Witch. Before anyone knew it, there was physical fighting and the boys and Trumpkin busted in. In the end the Hag and Nikabrik were dead. Everyone soon realized that the High Kings were there and Peter promised Caspian that he would help put him in power.

Chapter 13: High King in Command, Chapter 14: How All Were Very Busy & Chapter 15: Aslan Makes a Door in the Air
Peter decided the best way to try and defeat Miraz was to challenge him to a single combat instead of have the two armies fight. They all thought there was very little hope of him accepting but thought it was worth the try and bought them some time. Edmund, the Giant and the Centaur went and delivered the challenge. Little did they know that at the same time, some of Miraz council were plotting against him with hopes of taking over Narnia themselves. When the challenge was delivered Miraz asked them what they thought and were able to get him to accept. Peter selected his marshals and was ready for battle. Peter and Miraz battled and each had a time when it looked like they would win. Then, at one point, Miraz tripped and fell this gave her council members the opportunity they wanted. They ran into the battle area, stabbed Miraz and continued to attack Peter and his army. Suddenly a loud roar was heard and the trees came to life and caused Niraz's army to retreat. Caspian was crowned King of Narnia and Aslan offered that anyone who did not want to live in the new Narnia would be granted a new place to live. Aslan created a door that would take them there. Soon it was time for Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy to leave as well. They all got on their regular clothes, walked through the door, and before they knew it were back on the train platform as though they had never left.
