Like all big stars, Alvin, Simon and Theodore were immortalized at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas as the tiniest celebrities to ever be be molded into wax. The charming Chipmunks, standing a mere 18-inches tall, debuted at a premiere party in Las Vegas fit for an A-lister. The designing team worked about 640 man hours to finish the Chipmunks figures, and spent almost 180 working hours to make their little hoodies and head gear. Their fur was dyed to 15 different colors and trimmed to length before each hair was inserted one at a time by hand using a tiny hook.
