Tanner

Tanner is a fish out of water in every way possible. He is a rich, action-loving, super confident city kid who finds himself in a Kung Fu Academy which preaches patience, respect, and living off the bare necessities. The only way Tanner will ever realize his dream ski trip to Switzerland is to bide his time and do his chores at the academy. There's just one question that remains; which is going to change more, Tanner or the academy?

Lily

She's a fellow student at the academy and she's quiet, studious, respectful and amazing at martial arts - everything that Tanner isn't. Maybe that's why Tanner falls for her. Lily is also beautiful and friendly, always chatting with Tanner and showing him the latest kung fu moves she learned. In Tanner's eyes, Lily is perfect, except for having a boyfriend, Alfred, whom Tanner doesn't think is quite so perfect.

Alfred

Lily and Alfred have a little something going, but Tanner doesn't hesitate to try to impress Lily. With each episode Tanner tries to one-up Alfred, which isn't easy. Alfred has some mad kung fu skills, especially since he's been at the academy for much longer than Tanner.
