World's Ugliest Dog Crowned
Find out more about this crazy competition to crown the world's ugliest dog.

Now in its 24th year, The World's Ugliest Dog competition is actually a really good cause. Its goal is to bring awareness to rescue dogs and the dangers of inbreeding. The annual contest is held in England, and this year, Mugly, a Chinese Crested, won. His owner, Bev Nicholson said, "My whole family thought I was crazy coming here... but now the whole world can see his beauty from the inside out like I can.

Judges vote on pooches based on first impression, special attributes, personality and audience popularity. Maybe Mugly's sparkly blue top hat helped him stand out? Check out a couple of the other contestants below.
