Full Review:
Justin Bieber was a kid with a dream and that's how his story is told. From a very young age he demonstrated a keen ability for performing, beginning with playing the drums all the way to taking the actual stage. Watching him develop his skills, perform publicly, enter talent competitions you can see him waiting to explode into the star he is.
It was really neat watching him progress career-wise and seeing all the people who influenced him along the way. The insight of his managers, vocal coaches, street team and mentors (including Usher) all helped the celebrity that stands on the stage every night. Seeing him with his friends was a very cool peek inside what he's really like OFF the stage. He's just a normal boy who sometimes craves McDonald's. He's just a normal son who has to clean his room sometimes. And, he's just a normal teenager, who wants to actually "be normal" sometimes.
Seeing all the work he has done and continues to do to be Justin Bieber was inspirational. And seeing all the work that others do around him to see him continue to succeed was amazing. The only part that seemed to be missing was some sort of Choreographer. What was it like teaching him to dance, how much did he have to learn" and how much was just natural to him?
The 3D effects were really cool and the screaming girls in the theater certainly agreed. One of the best parts is in the middle when Justin and some of his management team are doing things specifically for the 3D cameras like goofing around and being silly. There is also a 3D hair flip that is probably the best part of the movie right in the middle. There are just the right amount of concert clips to keep you entertained and just the right amount of biography to teach us some interesting facts along the way (you can read some of them in Twelve Things About 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never').
All in all the film is a must-see for any Belieber, and even the Non-Beliebers could learn a thing or two about how hard he's worked (and continues to work) to achieve all that he has.
